Rupi Kaur--Poet #5

The last poet I'll share this month is the one to whom I've been most recently been introduced, Rupi Kaur. Her work is not for the faint of heart and might best be rated PG-13, maybe even R. I tend to be a bit liberal with what I think is okay for young minds. But it is poignant and heart wrenching and true, and when my friend Kasey gifted me her two books, I raced through them, voraciously consuming each page. Then I went back and read more slowly and rolled the words over in my mind. Again, I hope you love her, too.
