One Perfect Hour

Beech Lake in Lexington, Tennessee has a walking trail that is just shy of a mile long, and it’s a beautiful place to spend time. One afternoon, I had the fortune of being there as a storm was rolling in. I took a moment to sit and watch and listen to the process, and it was awe inspiring and soul renewing. This poem is a product of that day.
